Learn to manage your depression or anxiety with free Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at OSP West

Information en français

Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) offers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – available in-person or virtually – to Ontarians 18+ to treat a variety of mental health problems, such as:
• Depression
• Anxiety, worry, or stress
• Panic attacks
• Specific fears
• Other anxiety and stress-related problems such as post-traumatic stress and obsessive-compulsive concerns.

OSP does not offer supportive counselling, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, couples/family therapy, or case management.

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

CBT focuses on how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected (see diagram below). CBT is a short-term treatment that helps you learn strategies to change how you feel, think, act, and manage difficult situations.

OSP offers a stepped model of care

At OSP, CBT is delivered in three formats:

  • Coach- or therapist-supported self-led CBT
  • Group CBT (online only)
  • One-on-one CBT (in-person or online)

Most people start with a self-guided approach with support from a CBT coach or therapist. The images below describe the different formats we offer, as well as showing how these formats are offered in a stepped approach.
