The Burlington Ontario Health Team brings together members of the community who have a variety of experiences accessing local healthcare and community supports. Input from local residents is key to ensuring that recommendations for quality healthcare in Burlington are focused on meeting the needs of individuals receiving care in Burlington.
The BOHT invites Burlington residents to volunteer as a Community Advisor if you have experience navigating our local health care as a patient, a family member, or caregiver. Participation may include the BOHT Community Wellness Council, committees, working groups, or engagement in program design and evaluation. We welcome a broad scope of involvement from different parts of the community, ages, cultures, and backgrounds.
